VIDEO: Dramatic Turnovers On Both Sides -- Including 100 Yard Millikan Touchdown Run (See It) -- As Millikan Outscores Wilson, <nobr>48-27</nobr>

(Oct. 18, 2014) -- As seen LIVE on LBREPORT.com, big turnovers marked Friday night's (Oct. 17) ELB varsity football contest in which Millikan outscored Wilson 48-27.

Millikan led going into halftime 21-7...and both teams fought hard in the second half. Wilson came within one yard of a touchdown...until Millikan's De'andre Watson intercepted a Wilson goal line pass...and ran it back 100 yards. [We initially called it 99 yard run, but PA announcer Kevin Fielder had it right: it was 100 yards.]

Wilson scored its final touchdown on nearly the final play of the game (sequence begins at 19:00 in video below), tried for two extra points on which it came up short. The game ended one play later -- Millikan 48, Wilson 27 -- and both teams exited the field without the traditional final handshakes.
