(February 23, 2003, posted 7:55 p.m.) -- A double homicide occurred in WLB tonight at roughly 6:26 p.m. in the 3500 block of Baltic Ave. (7th Council district).

Details are sketchy as we post.

LBPD says two men were working on a car at the location when both were shot. One died at the scene; the other was transported to a local hospital and succumbed to his wounds.
