LB SCHOOL PERFORMANCE SCORES
Academic Performance Index
Academic Performance Index (API) rankings for LB Schools released by the CA Dept. of Education are part of a comprehensive statewide comparative assessment of academic performance.
CA's Academic Performance Index is a numeric score ranging from 200 to 1000. The state has set 800 as the score schools should strive to meet. Scores are then ranked in ten groups of equal size (deciles) ranging from one (lowest) to ten (highest).

School Accountability Report Cards (SARCs)
School Accountability Report Cards (SARCs), required under a 2000 CA law, are meant to provide "one stop shopping" for information about each CA school with standardized definitions in reporting specific data. The SARCs include SAT scores and enrollment numbers, useful data along with the Academic Performance Index scores (also indicated separately, below).
