(Feb. 25, 2007) -- We're not being goody-two-shoes in pointing out that on Sunday Feb. 25, LB expects a high in the mid-60s...while LB refugee/former LB community advocate Traci Wilson-Kleekamp in Columbia, MO endured a midmorning temp of 34 degrees -- windchill to 23 degrees -- and a 50% chance of snow (with less pollution, no shootings and fewer unpleasant surprises from City Hall, she regularly hastens to add).
For our part, we point out that LB competes with other southland cities -- which also have nice weather but differently run City Halls -- in attracting home buyers and businesses based on quality of life, safety and taxpayer friendliness.
That said, we very much enjoyed seeing the San Gabriel Mountains from LB on Feb. 23. This shot is from Signal Hill.
