(Feb. 4, 2010, follows front page report) -- Four individuals who hope 7th dist. voters will elect them as their 2010-2014 Councilmember -- with the power to decide development, spending and multiple policy issues citywide -- took part in an election candidates forum co-hosted by the Wrigley Ass'n and the California Heights Neighborhood Association on Monday night (Feb. 1).
At its height, nearly 100 people filled the Veterans Park social hall...and many more were logged into LBReport.com's live webcast and chat...the first time any LB media outlet has provided the public with a live video veio of a neighborhood organized LB candidate forum..
LBReport.com provided the live webcast as a beta test..and it is now available on-demand below and continues drawing viewers. We had flawless sound, one live internet interruption...and a less than sharp image (we used a small desktop camera for test purposes; we have higher quality video capability).
The event was co-hosted by the Wrigley Ass'n and Cal Hts Neighborhood Ass'n and moderated by Alan Tolkoff. LBReport.com's live webcast was independently produced by us with the major market technical skills and professional equipment of engineer/field producer Bill Lovelace (www.billlovelace.com).
