Tests will take at least 3-4 weeks, possibly longer but funeral arrangements can proceed
(January 23, 2002) -- LBReport.com has learned that lab tests have been ordered by the L.A. County Coroner's office to determine if the recent death of LB's flag waving icon, Thomas "Ski" Demski, was from suicide or natural causes.
Craig Harvey, Chief of Operations for the L.A. County Coroner's Office, told LBReport.com the cause of death has not yet been determined and has been deferred pending receipt of toxicology lab tests that could take from 3-4 weeks or as long as 6-8 weeks.
Mr. Harvey said the tests will determine if Mr. Demski's death was due to suicide or natural causes.
Mr. Demski's body has been released for funeral arrangements, Mr. Harvey said.
