(January 21, 2005) -- LBPD says that a house fire in the 1300 block of Stanley Ave. shortly after 11:00 p.m. on January 19 was more: a homicide.

The body of an adult woman was discovered after LBFD extinguished the blaze. LBPD says its preliminary investigation revealed "that prior to the fire neighbors reported hearing an unreported domestic dispute coming from the residence. The origin of the fire is considered suspicious at this time..."
