(January 27, 2005) -- Los Alamitos PD is looking for a green pick up truck which may have significant front end damage in the wake of a hit and run accident that killed a 19 year-old pedestrian in the 11800 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. (between Bradbury & Rossmoor Way).

Details are sketchy as we post. Los Alamitos PD said the victim was a Cypress man but did not immediately release his name.

In a written release, Los Al PD says it believes the suspect green pick up truck was travelling northbound on Los Alamitos Blvd. at about 5:35 a.m. on January 27 when the accident occurred.

Northbound Los Alamitos Blvd. was closed in the area until roughly 11:30 a.m. as police conducted their investigation.
