(Jan. 23, 2010) -- "Just as predicted," remarked StraightTalkTV host/executive producer Art Levine to LBReport.com publisher Bill Pearl...after the clear-sky pass-by of the Int'l Space Station on Saturday Jan. 23, previewed earlier in the day on LBReport.com.
Long Beach got a good viewing opportunity as the spacecraft traveled from NW to SE, passing just west of California between 6:26-6:31 p.m.

"The video doesn't really do it justice," Pearl said; to see it in real time traveling at such enormous speed (17,000 mph) is really something."
It is a teachable moment -- and free -- and LBReport.com regularly reports Space Station (and Space Shuttle) viewing opportunities in LB when we learn about them.
We hope you enjoy seeing the pass-bys. Let us know your reactions below.
