(July 1, 2002) -- A noon time shooting in the 6800 block of Orcutt Ave. (vicinity LB Blvd. near 68th, west of L.A. river) in NLB's 9th Council district sent two victims to a local hospital.

LBPD says that at roughly 12:05 p.m., shots rang out hitting one victim in the leg and a second in the leg and buttocks. The injuries were not life threatening.

LBPD says details are sketchy as the victims were not cooperative in the investigation.
