(July 1, 2002) -- Shots fired near a major WLB intersection in the early evening sent a victim to the hospital while three to four suspects remain at large.

LBPD says that at roughly 8:43 p.m. on June 30, shots rang out near Santa Fe Ave. and Willow St. in the 7th Council district. The victim drove into the 2900 block of Seabright St. and was taken to a local hospital and is reported in stable condition.

Police say the suspects are three or four male African-Americans who drove off in a small gray vehicle.
