(July 1, 2004) -- LBPD's Gang Detail is investigating the circumstances of a June 29 shooting at about 12:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of Cherry Ave.

LBPD Public Information Officer Greg Schirmer says a 17 year old male LB resident was shot, sustaining non-life-threatening wounds, after two suspects described as roughly 20-25 years of age walked up, words were exchanged and one suspect opened fire.
