(July 16, 2005) -- Friends of St. Joseph High School (Lakewood) alumna Linda Schorr Coryell (class of '80), who was seriously injured in a fall from a ladder last August, are readying a benefit concert for her on Satruday July 16...followed by the 25th reunion of the 1980 classes of St. Joseph and St. John Bosco High Schools.

The event -- a "Summer Lovin' Concert" to benefit Ms. Schorr Coryell -- will take place on Saturday night (details below) at St. Joseph High's Flynn Center and will include a silent auction and raffled items.

Singer Susan J. Paul promises soulful sounds...and has put up a webpage describing the event at www.susanjpaul.com. In addition to Ms. Paul's music, Paula Faust will provide stand-up comedy.

Ms. Paul says in a release that she and Ms. Faust were St. Joseph High classmates with Ms. Schorr Coryell...and they're taking part in the event because "other than give love and support, that's what sisters do for each other."

Tickets will be available at the door on July 16 ($20) at St. Joseph High's Flynn Center, 5825 N. Woodruff Ave. in Lakewood. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.; the concert starts at 7:30 p.m.
