(June 3, 2002) -- LB City Hall has issued a notice of public hearing indicating that Jim Choura, El Dorado Services has filed an application for a Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan Review for construction of a 1,244 square foot lounge/bar expansion for El Dorado Golf Course.

The notice indicates the application was filed on May 22 and is scheduled for a June 20, 2002 Planning Commission hearing. Details will be forthcoming, but the expansion will be attached to the current restaurant.

Mr. Choura has operated the El Dorado Golf Course Restaurant since 1981. It is operated under a lease with the City of LB.

Mr. Choura is a candidate in the June 4 election for the LB School Board against Jeannine McManigal-Ball, a teacher.

In the April 9 primary election, Ms. McManigal-Ball finished first and Mr. Choura finished second.
