28 Polling Places Have Been Changed For June 4 Election; Here's How To Find Your Polling Place

(June 3, 2002) -- LB's City Clerk Dept. advises that there have been 28 polling location changes for the June 4th election.

To confirm your correct polling station, you can do any of the following:

  • The old fashioned way: Check your official City Clerk sample ballot. The polling place should be printed on the official sample ballot.

  • The snazzy high tech way: LBReport.com has posted a hyperlink to a City Clerk's screen that invites you to enter your address (Caveat: Enter number, then street name but not "Ave." or "St."), which should returns as a hyperlink that you click on and your polling place should pop onto the screen. (Another caveat, the City Clerk's page indicates their page requires NetScape Version 6.0 or higher or Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher.) Want to try it? Click on: City Election Poll Info.

  • Reach out and touch someone. Call the City Clerk's info lines:

    6:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m.:
    (562) 570-6101

    7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.:
    (562) 570-7479
    (562) 570-6938
    (562) 570-6472
    (562) 570-6806

Then after you vote, watch your vote count, as LBReport.com again provides live, online results.
