(March 20, 2004) -- LBPD says that on Friday night March 19 at about 11:27 p.m., a man was shot while standing in front of a bar in the 2500 block of Santa Fe Ave.

Police say the victim was standing in front of a bar when a suspect pulled up in a car, had a brief conversation with the victim...and the suspect pulled out a handgun and fired at the victim, striking him once...and the vehicle fled the area immediately after the shooting.

Paramedics to the victim to a local hospital.
