(March 10, 2007, initial post) -- Business and pleasure didn't mix in NLB on Friday night March 9, interrupted by an LBPD anti-prostitution operation that took twelve people into custody.
Details are sketchy as we post. LBPD Public Information Officer Jason Evans says twelve people (a combination of women and men seeking their services) were arrested. The anti-prostitution operation began about 8 p.m. in NLB (exact area unavailable as we post).
PIO Evans says that in addition to the twelve people taken into custody, LBPD stored ten vehicles and impounded two.
Further details are expected in the coming days. Revisit this page for updated info as we receive it.
