(May 8, 2004) -- Several shots were fired from a car in the area of 11th St. and Molino Ave. as it drove by a group of roughly 10-15 people on Saturday night May 8.

Details are sketchy as we post. LBPD Public Information Officer Greg Schirmer says the gunfire took place shortly before 10:00 p.m...and no one was hit. The shots were reportedly fired from a black car as it drove by.

No further suspect information at present (and fortunately, no victim information to report).

On April 29, a shooting occurred in the area of 7th St. near Orizaba Ave, followed by a shooting on April 30 in the area of 7th St. and St. Louis Ave.
