(Nov. 25, 2005) -- ELB's Los Altos Shopping Center was filled with shoppers -- including lines of cars and people -- well before dawn this morning (Nov. 25, the day after Thanksgiving), drawn by special sales and holiday deals.
This was at 5:50 a.m.
Sears offered a $10 reward card to the first 200 customers at the front right corner entrance when the store opened at 6 a.m.
People near the head of line said they showed up around 3 a.m.
These shoppers a little further back in line showed up after 4 a.m., equipped for comfort.
The Sears line stretched south past Bristol Farms and curved beyond.
Circuit City opened at 5 a.m. for "six hour specials while they last." CompUSA was also full of shoppers.
Sales were brisk.
